Understanding Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs)

Recorded: July 27, 2010
Duration: 60 minutes

Today's fresh produce growers need to understand how MRLs impact the marketability of what they grow. Different countries have different limits on pesticide levels and some have no established levels at all on certain pesticides. Currently, there is an effort to harmonize MRLs globally, which will no doubt impact how your produce is sold in the future. During this webinar, Mike Aerts, marketing and membership director of the Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association, will share his expertise on MRLs and show you how to find out what the limits are for your produce in different markets.
