Crop Life magazine (formerly Farm Chemicals) reports that Certis USA is financed, focused and creating marketing opportunities for biocontrols. The company's mission, writes Group Editor Paul Schrimpf, is to combine biological products, traditional chemistries, and crop knowledge to develop integrated pest solutions. In the cover story of the magazine's April 2003 issue, Dennis Banasiak, Certis USA president and CEO, says: "The big difference between us and biopesticide companies in the past is that we no longer define ourselves as a biopesticide company."
