Plant Health Care, Inc. to Market Certis Products
Certis USA has selected Plant Health Care, Inc. (PHC) of Pittsburgh, PA, to introduce, promote and sell two biopesticide products into the commercial landscape and arboriculture markets in the U.S. The products, available in these markets for the first time, include Trilogy® PHC neem oil biopesticide and Teknar® PHC Bti bioinsecticide for mosquito control.
Trilogy PHC is a sprayable horticultural oil derived from the neem seed for broad spectrum pest management. A botanical pesticide, it has three pest spectrumsfungicidal, miticidal and insecticidalin one product. Trilogy PHC controls fungal leaf diseases, such as powdery mildew, rust and blackspot, and on contact aphids, whiteflies, mites and soft scale. Teknar PHC, available in granules and water soluble packets, is a highly concentrated bioinsecticide for mosquito and black fly larval control in ponds and lakes. Teknar PHC contains the potent beneficial bacteria Bacillus thuringensis var. israelensis.
