Sil-MATRIX introduces a novel active ingredient—soluble silica—to crop protection. When spray applied, it controls the mites and insects it contacts suppressing their populations. Sil-MATRIX also forms a physical barrier within the leaf cuticle that prevents penetration of fungal diseases, primarily powdery mildew.
For more information, please consult the product label.
For best results, apply Sil-MATRIX on a preventive schedule for disease control. Begin applications when environmental conditions are conducive to disease development. Repeat applications no sooner than every seven days. When conditions are ideal for rapid development of disease, it is recommended that Sil-MATRIX be used in a rotational program with other registered fungicides.
For mite and insect suppression, begin applications when pests first appear and repeat applications as necessary to maintain suppression (but no sooner than every seven days).
For best results, apply Sil-MATRIX before leaf hardening.
For maximum results, use a high analysis non-ionic surfactant at recommended label rates.
Application Instructions
For fruit, nut, vine and vegetable crops, apply 0.5 to 1% solution (2-4 quarts Sil-MATRIX/100 gal.) in 50 to 250 gallons (vegetables, 20 gallons) of finished spray per acre.
